Automatic air relief valves also for radiators

The automatic version of the air relief valves is useful for reducing accumulation of air in radiators

Impurities present in heating installation fluids, generally water, can lead to generating dissolved gases which tend to accumulate in the highest points of the circuit, including radiators.
Air relief valves placed on radiators allow discharging air accumulation outside the system as this can cause different types of problems such as: noisiness, poor conductivity, corrosion.
These air relief valves, which also have an automatic version for radiators, ensure the discharge of the air accumulated in the upper part of the radiator. This phenomenon causes a decrease in heating performance, due to the fact that air thermal conductivity is significantly lower than that of water. Together with a lower performance, this problem also leads to increased expense as well as to a thermal imbalance to the detriment of the comfort of the environment.
Air relief valves also reduce possible corrosion due to the presence of oxygen with other materials in water; these three elements over time lead to ferrous oxide which turns into magnetite and can then be seen in the system as a grey sludge.
The GNALI BOCIA catalogue also offers larger automatic air relief valves which help to completely extract accumulated circulating gases when installed in the highest point of the system.
