Pressure tanks that work containing fluid have to remain in certain working conditions that include given temperature and pressure conditions. The passage through which the fluid passes from a pressured tank placed at the beginning(a monte) and another pressured tank placed at the end(a valle) is determined by a pressure regulator, a device entirely designed and produced in the Gnali Bocia establishments. The aim is to modify the pressure value entering the tank at the end, which will be different to the pressure regulator at the beginning.
Regulators are generally divided in two categories: low and high pressure. This brings deep changes in the structure of the devices due to the working conditions concerned.
High pressure regulators work at a maximum pressure of 6 bar, in other words pressure two times higher than that of the environment while low pressure regulators work with values inferior to a bar: going from 20mbar to a maximum of 200mbar.
Some
pressure regulators possess a barometer that reads the difference in pressure; not all models have this extra device as for many circumstances don’t need to know the exact pressure but exclusively respect the maximum values imposed.
